My Story:

Two Tides Jewellery began with something I have always loved to do: walk along the water and see what the tide has left behind.

A shell that makes me stop. A piece of glass worn smooth by water and time. An unexpected colour, curve or imperfection that makes something ordinary feel anything but.

Every piece begins there.

I gather and choose each natural element individually, then bring it home and decide what — if anything — it needs from me. Sometimes it's a freshwater pearl. Sometimes a little gold or silver. Sometimes a few carefully placed lines of wire.

And sometimes the most important decision is to leave well enough alone.

Because I don't believe nature needs perfecting.

Two Tides Jewellery is intentionally simple. I want the texture, markings, curves and beautiful imperfections of each found piece to speak first. The jewellery I add around it is there to complement what already exists, never compete with it.

That also means I don't make duplicates.

Each piece is created individually from something nature made only once. When one finds its home, I don't recreate it. Eventually, another walk, another tide and another small discovery will become something entirely new.

Two Tides isn't about trends or perfection. It's about noticing. About seeing beauty in something another person might have walked past. About carrying a little piece of the water with you.

For me, every piece begins with a walk.
